Apple was 12 when he came to Grateful Acres in late May of 2004 from a situation where he was being starved. By the time we took these pictures Apple had already put on about 100 pounds, but he could still use some more meat on his bones. He is also swaybacked. But, Apple is a very friendly horse and will walk over to you to say hello when you walk into his paddock.
