Occasionally, a pregnant animal will come to us, as with the mothers of "Lily" and "Finally". The babies are eventually placed with adoptive families, or simply remain with their mothers here at the farm. Lily was born at Grateful Acres on September 25. She is shown here with proud mama, Lacy. Lacy was in bad shape when she was rescued from a livestock auction a year ago. A kind woman nursed her back to health and then placed her at Grateful Acres for lifetime care. Lily was born a month after Lacy's arrival at the sanctuary.
