Pokey
Pokey is a thoroughbred who was perhaps 17 when he came to Grateful Acres. He was owned, loved, and trained by a family with a few other horses, but when Pokey contracted EPM the family could no longer keep him. Although he recovered from EPM through treatment, he still shows lingering signs of damage. However, Pokey is a happy horse and spends his days in peace relaxing and eating hay with his pasture pals.
